All school children will have access to quality health care

Support the continuation and expansion of school wellness programs in Calhoun County schools

Improve health and nutrition in the schools

Inform school age children (and their families) about the health, dental, and vision resources available

Choose Health

To reduce obesity in Calhoun County by promoting a lifelong commitment to good nutrition and regular physical activity

Improve food quality and physical activity offered in schools

Community design that allows for physical activity

Teen Pregnancy Prevention Partnership (TP3)

(1) Reduce teen pregnancy rate to below the State average and,

(2) Reduce the rate of births to teens (ages 15-19) in Battle Creek by 20%

Convene workgroups to address teen pregnancy prevention in Post, Washington Heights, and Wison-Edison Neighborhoods
